The former American Idol contestant who was caught kissing married country singer Jason Aldean has apologized, blaming a "lapse in judgment" for the clinch.
The My Kinda Party hitmaker was recently photographed getting close to Brittany Kerr on the patio of The Den bar on the Sunset Strip in Los Angeles.
Aldean has admitted he "acted inappropriately" and apologized for embarrassing his wife and two kids, and now NBA cheerleader Kerr has spoken out after facing a backlash.
She says, "The actions I portrayed recently were not a representation of my true character, but a lapse in judgment on my part. I would like to sincerely apologize to everyone that has been affected by this, including my friends and family."
After the incriminating snaps emerged online over the weekend, Aldean took to Facebook.com and admitted to the indiscretion, writing, "The truth is that I screwed up. I had too much to drink, let the party get out of hand and acted inappropriately at a bar."
