A representative for Whitney Houston's teenage daughter has shut down reports Bobbi Kristina Brown is engaged to her boyfriend Nick Gordon.
Following the death of her superstar mum in February, the 19-year-old has grown increasingly close to Gordon, who was informally adopted by Houston when he was 12, and the young couple has sparked rumours of a wedding ever since.
A new trailer for Bobbi Kristina's upcoming reality TV show, The Houstons: On Our Own, was released this week and it appeared to confirm Gordon had proposed, with the pair nervously telling family members, "We're engaged."
However, a spokesperson for the teen has now spoken out to CNN.com, explaining the young lovers are not presently engaged - although at one time they might have been, since the series was taped weeks ago.
The rep adds, "You have to watch the show!"
According to additional footage, Bobbi Kristina's relatives were not too happy about their 'engagement' news - her aunt, Pat Houston, can be heard branding the announcement "unacceptable", while an uncle tells Gordon, "No one knew that from a godson, you would turn into a boyfriend, nobody knew that."
