Justin Bieber’s claim his laptop was stolen earlier this week was revealed to be an elaborate prank on his fans.
It seems the laptop story was just used to promote his new video for Beauty and a Beat, co-starring Nicki Minaj.
The video opens with the words:
“In October of 2012 three hours of personal footage was stolen from musician Justin Bieber. The following footage was illegally uploaded by an anonymous blogger.”
The video then cuts to candid home video shots of Bieber at various ages before the real start of Beauty and a Beat begins.
