Hacking charges over Jepsen pics
By Michael Mui, QMI Agency
VANCOUVER — Charges have been approved in a criminal harassment investigation believed to be linked to hacked naked photos of Mission, B.C., songstress Carly Rae Jepsen. Vancouver police said on Tuesday Christopher David Long, 25, of Abbotsford, B.C., has been charged with fraudulently obtaining telecommunications services, unauthorized use of a computer, mischief to data, identity fraud and possession of stolen property. Police are only saying that the case relates to a police report in March, suggesting someone harassed and hacked the computer of a “local, well-known celebrity.” |
