Queens of the Stone Age have filmed a hilarious spoof 'mockumentary' giving fans a sneak peak behind the making of the band's next studio album.
The rockers took inspiration for the nine-minute film from Rob Reiner's This Is Spinal Tap, which follows the journey of a fictional heavy metal band.
In the YouTube.com video, entitled Secrets Of The Sound, British comedian Matt Berry and comic Steve Agee take on the role of bumbling interviewers who forget the bandmates' names, insult their equipment and show a distinct lack of musical knowledge.
The band posted a link to the video on their official Facebook page, alongside the message: "Matt Berry & Steve Agee uncover the Secrets of the Sound. Does anyone have the time? We need to be somewhere at 9."
The rockers are set to release the as-yet unnamed album next year, and a series of cryptic posts on their Facebook page including the number nine has led to speculation that this will be the title of the new release.
