Out with the old tunes and in with the new. Here are 13 of the most-anticipated albums of 2013 (in alphabetical order). But before you mark the calendar, remember: Everything is subject to change.
They're ready to start again. Singer-guitarist Win Butler and his beloved Montreal indie rockers have been in the studio with James Murphy of dearly departed dance-punk LCD Soundsystem, working on the much-anticipated followup to their Grammy and Juno-winning 2010 smash The Suburbs. This should be interesting.
Broke with Expensive Taste
Despite just one EP and a mixtape to her credit, the 21-year-old New Yorker is rap's hottest phenom, thanks to her risque, rapid-fire rhymes and arrogant nonchalance. Her first full-length major-label disc -- due Feb. 12 -- could be the coming-out party of the year.
