Word out of Lake Sherwood, the highly exclusive community about a 90-minute limo ride north of Hollywood, is the star is suffering buyers' remorse after purchasing a five-bedroom, seven-bath $8.5 million estate in November.
"We heard she's already made inquires about what she can resell it for," said an area real estate agent.
Spears is notorious for buying and selling pricy homes faster than you can illegally download one of her songs.
The mother of two (she shares custody with former husband Kevin Federline) has lived in at least 12 homes since 1999. Her feet have been particularly itchy lately as she has packed up and relocated to a total of four different estates in just two years.
