Canadian rapper Classified has definitely discovered his Inner Ninja.
Call it the strength that comes from knowing you've finally made it -- 15 albums into your career.
"It seems like it connected," says Classified, a.k.a. Enfield, N.S. native Luke Boyd, 37, whose self-titled new album, featuring the Top 10 single Inner Ninja, just debuted at No. 1 in Canada on the iTunes chart.
"It's great to just see it happen. ...(Inner Ninja) just went gold this week, in like seven weeks. Where any other single that I had went gold took almost a year."
We caught up with Boyd to talk all things Classified (the album), which features many collaborations including with fellow east coaster and folk artist David Myles, who sings the vocals on Ninja.
