50 Cent has cast doubt on reports rival rapper Rick Ross was involved in a drive-by shooting in Florida on Monday, insisting the photos look "staged".
The heavyweight hip-hop star was in a Rolls-Royce which crashed into a building in Fort Lauderdale after a gunman in another vehicle peppered the car with bullets.
It has since emerged that Ross was driving the vehicle with his rumoured girlfriend, Shateria L. Moragne-el, as his passenger.
None of the gunshots actually hit the car and pair, which was celebrating Ross' 37th birthday, emerged unharmed.
Images from the scene have been posted on various news websites but 50 Cent is convinced they are all fake - and he is enjoying having a laugh at Ross' expense.
In a Twitter.com post on Monday, 50 Cent writes, "Hahaha fat boy hit the building?lol it looks staged to me. No hole's in da car".
Ross is reportedly co-operating with police as they investigate the shooting, but cops have yet to name any suspects or make any arrests.
The two rappers have been engaged in a war of words since 2009, when Ross took aim at 50 in his song Mafia Music.
