R&B star Chris Brown was pulled over for speeding in Los Angeles on Friday, according to a U.S. report.

The Don't Wake Me Up hitmaker was cruising around Beverly Hills with a pal in his black Porsche convertible when he was targeted by police for allegedly failing to abide by the speed limit.

Brown received a ticket and was then permitted to go on his way, according to TMZ.com.

The singer's latest run-in with the law comes just five days after his altercation with Frank Ocean in West Hollywood, where he was accused of punching the Channel Orange star during a dispute over a parking space. Ocean has since declined to press charges.
