Chris Brown's angry online attack on his critics on Tuesday has been dismissed as a hoax by his representative.

A day after officials at the Los Angeles District Attorney's office questioned alleged discrepancies in documents filed last year regarding the Kiss Kiss hitmaker's community service hours, the singer appeared to take to his re-activated Instagram.com account to blast those calling him and his legal team liars.

The missive posted on Instagram read: "Im wise I can handle the hate but enough is enough yo!!... Im a human being and I honestly think I deserve respect. Im sick of being accused. Im tired yall just dont understand Ive been going through this s**t since I was 19 years old... you cant sit here and tell me to calm down, when am I gonna get a positive outcome out of anything I do? Just when everything seems to be going good, some new s**t happens. A day in my shoes is a day in hell, believe it or not!"

But it has since emerged that the person raging online wasn't Brown - a spokesperson for the 23 year old insists the note was written by an Internet prankster, telling GossipCop.com, "It's fake. He currently doesn't have an Instagram."

Meanwhile, the star put all the drama behind him on Tuesday night by reuniting with Rihanna for a late night studio session - the couple was snapped in Brown's Porsche early on Wednesday morning.
