British musician Rick Huxley, bassist with 1960s band The Dave Clark Five, has died at the age of 72.
Huxley, who joined the band in 1957 as lead guitarist but moved to bass when Chris Walls left in 1959, passed away on Monday. Further details of his death were unavailable as WENN went to press.
The musician stayed with the group throughout its 1960s heyday until its split in 1970.
He played bass on the band's smash hit Glad All Over, which famously knocked The Beatles' I Wanna Hold Your Hand off the top of the U.K. singles chart in 1964.
