Even Bon Jovi guitarist Richie Sambora recognizes that the New Jersey rockers are trying something they've never done before: Starting a world tour before their latest disc is out.
In this case, the group launched their Because We Can Tour on Feb.9 -- the trek is named for the new album's first single -- and their latest studio effort What About Now isn't released until March 12.
But if any member of the group -- Richie Sambora, drummer Tico Torres and keyboardist David Bryan -- is nervous about putting the cart before the horse, musically speaking, they're not saying.
"In the band's existence, it's the first time we've ever actually toured before we put a record out, so I guess we're going to find out (how it goes) aren't we?" says Sambora, 53, on a conference call with the other two band members.
