Alice Cooper's Halloween concert cruise has been cancelled due to slow ticket sales.
The rock legend had been due to set sail on The Ship of Fear Cruise from Miami, Florida to the Bahamas on October 28 for five days of live performances at sea.
However, the excursion has now been scrapped and organizers have blamed a lack of "consumer demand" for the cancellation.
A statement posted on the cruise's official website reads, "After careful consideration, we have decided not to continue with The Ship of Fear Cruise and we will not be sailing in 2013. Those guests who already purchased cabins will be given a full refund. We feel that we had a strong combination of talent, programming and promotion; however, we did not receive the consumer demand required to continue."
The cruise was also due to feature appearances from actors and directors linked to a number of classic horror films including Child's Play, Candyman, The Fly, Fright Night, Gremlins and Pet Sematary.
Director Joe Dante and former child star Corey Feldman were among those involved.
