Having a two year old on the road with you is a great idea if you're in Stars, says singer Amy Millan.
She has a daughter, Delphine, with the group's bassist-guitarist Evan Cranley.
"The band is just in love with her,' says Millan ahead of a cross-Canada headlining theatre tour.
"She makes everybody more cheerful. We've been together for 13 years so the hangovers and the crustiness is getting a bit much. Having a little kid around to make you smile and laugh and your whole focus is to make her happy, everyone has adopted that .... Considering there's just two of us with the kid, they really are like her family .... She's been on 37 flights, and three tour buses and she's been all across the United States and Canada and she's really lucky 'cause not many kids get to spend all day with their parents."
