Legendary blues guitarist B.B. King was heckled by audience members during a concert in St. Louis, Missouri on Friday.

The iconic musician, 88, left audience members at the Peabody Opera House frustrated with a set that reportedly only contained eight complete songs, was dotted with musical snippets and featured a 15-minute rendition of You Are My Sunshine and long talks with the audience, leading to cat calls and walkouts.

One audience member, digital marketing executive Larry Goldstein, paid $150 for a ticket and complained that while his love for the musician had not diminished, the cost of the ticket was too high for the performance.

He tells the Associated Press, "Is he a living legend? Absolutely. Do I love his music? You bet. But when you're paying that type of money, you expect to see a show."

Another concert-goer adds, "Everybody was trying to be respectful that this guy is 88 years old. It was painful to watch."
