Australian singer/songwriter Sia has scored her first number one album in the U.S.

The star's new release 1000 Forms of Fear has shot to the top of the Billboard 200, despite the fact Sia promoted it by performing with her back to the camera on a series of U.S. chat shows as dancers interpreted her hit single Chandelier.

The album is Sia's first U.S. top 10 - her previous releases have failed to break the top 20.

The Frozen soundtrack is on the rise again at two, while Sam Smith's In the Lonely Hour holds at three and fellow Brit Ed Sheeran falls to four with X.

Last week's number one, Trey Songz's Trigga, drops to five and veteran rockers Judas Priest score their highest-charting album ever, as Redeemer of Souls debuts at number six.

Meanwhile, on the singles chart, Canadian pop/reggae group MAGIC! have ended Iggy Azalea's seven-week reign atop the Hot 100.

The group's Rude topples rapper Azalea's Fancy, making MAGIC! the first all-Canadian act to top the U.S. charts in over a decade.

MAGIC! frontman Nasri Atweh is not new to the top 10 - he co-wrote Justin Bieber's As Long as You Love Me, Pitbull's Feel This Moment and New Kids on the Block's Summertime.

Azalea's Fancy falls to number two on the new chart, while her Problem collaboration with Ariana Grande stays put at three. Nico & Vinz's Am I Wrong and Sam Smith's Stay With me are also unmoved at four and five.
