For this symphonic score to the sixth and final instalment in the Star Wars saga, composer John Williams goes over to the dark side. Creating an air of foreboding tension with staccato rhythms, stabbing strings, thundering kettle drums, Omen-style choirs and low rumbling drones, Williams leads the London Symphony Orchestra through a 75-minute soundtrack to accompany Anakin Skywalker's transformation into Darth Vader.

A bonus 70-minute DVD of music and footage from all six films only ups the must-have quotient for the geek squad.
