By JAM! Music

A memorial fund has been established in memory of rising R&B star Aaliyah, to benefit cancer research.

The fund has been set up "in accordance with Aaliyah's family," the label said.

The singer died last weekend in a plane crash, while returning from the Bahamas on a video shoot.
