UNSUNG HEROES
Susan Aglukark
It's nice to have Susan Aglukark's voice back on Canadian airwaves. Her style of mixing English and Inuit is a refreshing break. Unsung Heroes is a good album with Aglukark contributing her writing talents to all 12 tracks. This is best approached as easy listening and in that sense it doesn't disappoint. However, if you listen too closely to the tunes which are all quite similar, you take the risk of feeling preached to. Aglukark covers a lot of self-discovery issues on this CD and it can get a little much. Thankfully, her voice and music don't let us down.
