Adele rises to the top again
By , QMI Agency

Adele

British songbird Adele is in a familiar spot on the Canadian album charts - at No. 1.

Her mega-selling "21" is once again the top disc in the land, shooting up from the third spot, and selling another 17,000 copies in the process.

"21" has now sold a remarkable 514,000 copies since its release 29 weeks ago, according to Neilsen SoundScan figures.

Meanwhile, last week's top dog, Lil Wayne's "Tha Carter IV," sinks two levels to No. 3, selling 8,400 - a drop of 73% from last week, and sandwiched in between and up two notches is David Guetta's "Nothing But the Beat" (8,500) at No. 2.

Red Hot Chili Peppers' "I'm With You" (6,900) also slips two in its second week, landing at No. 4, LMFAO's "Sorry for Party Rocking" rebounds four to No. 5, and Jay-Z and Kanye West's "Watch the Throne" slips another spot to No. 6.

Closing out the top 10 is Maroon 5's "Hands All Over" at No. 7, Lady Gaga's "Born This Way" at No. 8, Bad Meets Evil's EP "Hell: The Sequel" at No. 9, and "NOW 18" at No. 10.

In the U.S., Lil Wayne remains in first, followed by Adele in second, George Strait's "Here For a Good Time" in third, the Beatles "1" in fourth, Jay Z and Kanye in fourth, and the Red Hot Chili Peppers in fifth.
