Looking for Ladies' lost guitar
By JANE STEVENSON
The instrument, a McCarty with a natural blond finish and a custom-made Paul Reed Smith semi-hollow body, went missing after the Ladies took an Air Canada Flight from Toronto to St. John's, Nfld. on May 30. The Ladies were enroute to do a show on May 31 on the East Coast, and the guitar, whose distinguishing feature is a Bigsby tremolo arm, was checked in at Pearson International Airport but never showed up in St. John's. Air Canada has been searching for the instrument for two weeks and hasn't found it, so the band is now turning to the public for help. The serial no. on the guitar is #049256. The instrument was in a rectangular flight case with the number "57" on it. Anyone knowing the whereabouts of the guitar should contact Dean Roney at 204-291-5051. |
