Beck's "Guero" checks in at No. 2.

Beck made an impressive debut on the charts this week, but it wasn't enough to dethrone 50 Cent from No. 1 in Canada.
The alt-rock icon's sixth major-label album "Guero" landed at No. 2 with sales of 12,900, his best Canadian debut ever, according to data compiled by Nielsen SoundScan.
However, Beck's sales fell short of the 16,500 copies sold from 50 Cent's "The Massacre," which held the No. 1 spot for a fifth consecutive week.
Meanwhile, Green Day's "American Idiot" and Michael Buble's "It's Time" both remained at No. 3 and No. 4, and French artist Marie Chantal Toupin's "Non-Negociable" dropped three positions to No. 5.
Jack Johnson's "In Between Dreams" held steady at No. 6, desert rockers Queens of the Stone Age fell two spots to No. 7 with "Lullablies To Paralyze," and Will Smith's "Lost & Found" found itself at No. 8 in its first week of release.
Gwen Stefani's "Love.Angel.Music.Baby" sank from No. 8 to No. 9, and Theory of a Deadman's sophomore album "Gasoline" entered the charts at No. 10.
Other notable debuts included Marc-Andre's self-titled album at No. 38, The Game's "West Coast Resurrection" at No. 42, and Matt Mays & El Torpedo at No. 46.
In the U.S., 50 Cent claimed the top spot, followed by Beck in second, jailed rapper Beanie Sigel's "The B. Coming" in third, 112's "Pleasure & Pain" in fourth, and "Now 18" in fifth.
