If there's one thing you should know about Tanya Donelly - aside from
what everyone who's ever met her invariably tells you, which is, "She's so
nice" (and they're right) - it's this: Never assume anything.
Take the title of King (out Tuesday), the sterling sophomore album by
her
band, Belly. Since the songs deal specifically with a crisis of faith and a
search for something to believe in, you might think "King" refers to God.
Wrong.
