James Blunt's latest disc is back in familiar territory this week -- on top of the Canadian album charts.
The British balladeer's "Back To Bedlam" returned to No. 1 on sales of over 18,000, according to figures compiled by Nielsen SoundScan.
It marks the fifth time this year that Blunt has been at the top of the heap here.
Meanwhile, three new debuts littered the top 10, with country Tim McGraw leading the pack. His "Greatest Hits" checked in at No. 3 with sales of 9,000, Rob Zombie's "Educated Horses" premiered at No. 5, and the Yeah Yeah Yeah's critically acclaimed effort "Show Your Bones" landed at No. 9.
Back near the top, Pierre Laponte's new disc "La Foret Des Mal Aimes" (14,000) and Jack Johnson's "Curious George" soundtrack both slipped one position to No. 2 and No. 4, while the Junos compilation rose seven spots to No. 6.
The "Walk the Line" soundtrack fell one to No. 7, Madonna's "Confessions on a Dancefloor" remained at No. 8, and the compilation "The Legend of Johnny Cash" hung onto the No. 10 slot.
Other debuts in the top 50 included Atreyu's "A Death Grip on Yesterday" at No. 20, T.I.'s "King" at No. 24, the collection "More Country Heat" at No. 26, and the Black Eyed Peas' remix CD "Renegotiations" at No. 43.
In the U.S., T.I. entered the charts at No. 1, followed by Tim McGraw in second, the "High School Musical" TV show soundtrack in third, Ghostface Killah's "Fishscale" in fourth, and Rob Zombie in fifth.
