Rocker Jon Bon Jovi will be starring in the upcoming film "National Lampoon's The Trouble With Frank," Variety reports.
He will play a former lawyer and current loafer who finds himself in court after using credit cards to fund a get-rick-quick scheme.
Lampoon's founder Matty Simmons wrote the script and will produce the film. He sold National Lampoon in 1998, but returned to the company in 2002 as a producer.
Bon Jovi's film credits include "Young Guns II," "Homegrown" and "Pay It Forward." He also had a role on the series "Ally McBeal."
