Bureaucrats real punks
Twenty years ago, the Bureaucrats stood as revolutionaries in the nation's capital.

 Between 1978 and 1981, singer Gary "Gaz" Sidwell, guitarists Mitch Sidwell and Joe Frey, bassist Grant Bucosky and drummer Wayne Johnson managed to scrape together a cult following with their original Clash-cum-new wave material, echoing similar rebel sentiments rising out of the likes of New York and London in the late '70s.
