Album Review: Aaron Carter

Aaron's Party (Come Get It)
By MIKE BELL

AARON'S PARTY (Come Get It)
Aaron Carter
(BMG)

I have a place in my head where I go when I'm really, really sad. Once there, a scenario is played out in exquisite detail: Aaron Carter -- fresh-faced pubescent popper who, on his latest CD fancies himself a cool-talkin' B-boy hip hopper (think Will Smith circa his Fresh Prince days, except even whiter) -- is accidentally booked to perform at The Source awards.

I call it my happy place.
