Country singer and songwriter Rosanne Cash is set to undergo brain surgery for a "rare but benign condition," Reuters reports.
According to her official website, the 52-year-old singer, who is the eldest daughter of Johnny Cash, will have surgery at a New York hospital.
Cash said that she expected to make a full recovery from the condition, which was not identified, and resume touring in the spring once she records a new album.
The singer's ailment forced her to cancel a number of concert dates scheduled to take place this month.
