The local metal trio celebrates the release of its debut CD, Egg In An Ashtray, with a show in Red's tomorrow night. While production may be lacking, the lyrics are some of the most clever and vivid you'll hear in this genre. Topics include sex, drugs and the end of the world as we know it. Ugly Enough to Be a Supermodel appears to be a scathing attack on the fashion industry, followed by Bacon, a song expressing disgust over a friend who "likes fat chicks." As for drugs, the opening Clearasil paints a picture of global apocalypse, with special venom reserved for drug addicts. On the other hand, Ganja seems to be a pro-marijuana song.
