LIFE GOES ON
Clark's Life is goodBy ANDREW CARVER -- Ottawa Sun
Terri Clark Life Goes On (Universal) On Terri Clark's new album you get country music written and played by some of Nashville's top hands. It's so well done you may find yourself wishing there were a few rough edges, a crack or two in the facade, but no such luck -- Clark is a talented singer with expert backing from the likes of Brent Mason, Stuart Duncan, Lonnie Wilkson and carefully selected material. There are brisk, go-getting numbers like opener Life Goes On. There are weepers like She Didn't Have Time and I Wish He'd Been Drinkin' Whiskey. There are good-time honky tonk songs like Cowboy Days and Honky Tonk Song (don't worry -- they spent much more time writing it than coming up with a name for it). "Life Goes On" is a polished and muscular country album from real professionals. Track Listing:
