OTTAWA -- If it worked for the robotic art rockers DEVO, it'll work for The Clones, the local pair of musical astronauts, exploring the outer limits of technology, humour and music at Cafe Dekcuf next Thursday.
The collaboration of digital artists and musicians Marc Adornato and Dr. David James Wilkinson, the band incorporates new media technology such as web video, campy Flash Gordon costumes and satirical storylines with a funkifying fusion of reggae, jazz, world and progressive music like a nerd's version of super-funk legends Parliament.
