That wasn't initially on guitarist James Cohen's mind when he went searching for a metronome-like device to properly keep time while learning flamenco rhythms.
"I needed one because those rhythms are really hard to learn," explains Cohen, who skillfully masters the flamenco genre on his debut disc, La Tormenta, released late last year. "You keep thinking you've got it right, then test it out against people who know what they're doing and you're nowhere near them.
