Producer Brian Eno (U2, Talking Heads) will be at the controls for Coldplay's upcoming studio album, Billboard.com reports.
Eno revealed the news via BBC Radio 4's "Front Row" on Friday. He said the new album, the group's fourth, "will be very original and different from what they've done before."
Eno's last prooduction work was Paul Simon's "Surprise," released last year.
Meanwhile, Coldplay are set to debut new material on a tour of Latin America next month.
