The Canadian dates begin with the group's lone festival appearance July 27 in Pemberton, B.C.
Other Western Canadian arena dates include Edmonton (July 29), Calgary (July 30) and Winnipeg (Aug. 1).
The second leg kicks off Oct. 20 at Montreal's Bell Centre with a show the following night in Ottawa. Tickets for most Canadian dates go on sale June 14.
Although no local ticket information has been confirmed, the report states a "three-tiered pricing strategy" at $50, $65 and $85.
"You're not going to see us coming out with $125-$150 tickets," Coldplay's manager Dave Holmes told Billboard.com.
The group releases its new album Viva La Vida on June 17.
