It seems Alice Cooper fans are less willing to clone the godfather of ghoul at his concerts nowadays.
Yet, there were some brave souls who donned the white makeup, black eyes, ratty black wigs and top hats in the ultimate tribute to their hero.
Amanda Tasker, 21, Jake Webb, 25, Katie Nowlan and Sarah Grant, both 20, were surprised at the lack of people dressed up in Cooper sinister-style cloth.
"This is the only concert that we can do something like this," said Tasker, who has seen Cooper twice before.
"But I thought there'd be more people doing it."
Webb said he has been a fan of his for many years and admires Cooper's originality. And Marylin Manson?
"He doesn't stand up to (Alice Cooper) at all," Webb said.
His sentiment was shared with Calgarian Phil Jones and Joel Graftaas, both 18, who said the '90s answer to shock rock paled in comparison to the '70s hard-rock hero.
"(Marylin Manson) is just a cheap rip-off," said Jones.
Kids such as 12-year-old Andrew Geick who weren't even born when Cooper was at the height of his popularity had fun donning Cooper's nightmarish get-up.
"He knew all the words to Hey Stoopid when he was three-years-old," said dad Gary.
