PASADENA -- Last season, TV bios based on pop groups from the '60s and '70s were cranked out like so many Britney Spears CDs. Everyone from The Beach Boys to John Denver to The Monkees got a TV-movie makeover.

There have even been whole miniseries lately about both the '60s and the '70s. But a Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young TV-movie? No way, man.
