You know when you've run out of smoke and all that's left is the resin in your bong? This album is a lot like that. You'll get a buzz, but getting there doesn't always taste too good. Once all the bragging about record sales and attempts at riding the Limp Bizkit rap-metal wave are out of the way, Stoned Raiders reveals its strengths in psychedelic beats and clever rhymes about more than just smokin' cheeba and offin' pigs. Still, it's no Insane in the Brain. Perhaps some good Canadian hydro might help, eh?
