Metalheads Disturbed scored their first ever No. 1 album on the Canadian album charts this week.
The Chicago-based band's fourth effort, "Indestructible," shot to the top on sales of over 19,000 copies, according data compiled by Nielsen SoundScan.
Their previous two albums, 2005's "Ten Thousand Fists" and 2002's "Believe," got as high as No. 2.
Disturbed also locked up No. 1 south of the border, selling 252,000 copies of "Indestructible" in the U.S.
Meanwhile, back here, Weezer's self-titled disc (a.k.a The Red Album) also had a successful first week, entering at No. 2 with sales of over 12,000.
The big debuts forced Usher's "Here I Stand" (7,000) out from No. 1 down to No. 3, the "Sex and the City" soundtrack sank one notch to No. 4, and Madonna's "Hard Candy" slipped three to No. 5.
Martha Wainwright's second full-length "I Know You're Married But I've Got Feelings Too" checked in at No. 6, while Duffy's "Rockferry" went the other way, dropping two rungs to No. 7.
Rounding out the top 10 was The Lost Fingers' "Lost in the 80's" at No. 8, Claude Dubois' "Dubois Par Choeur" at No. 9, and Radiohead's "Best of Radiohead (Double Disc)" at No. 10 (the single disc debuted at No. 19).
Other notable first week entries included Opeth's "Watershed" at No. 17, and Jewel's "Perfectly Clear" at No. 28.
In the U.S., the compilation "NOW 28" came in second, followed by Usher in third, Weezer in fourth, and Journey's Wal-Mart only release "Revelation" in fifth.
