U.K. hip-hop artist Dizzee Rascal has been named the winner of this year's Mercury Prize, the British music award styled after literature's Pulitzer Prize.
The BBC reports the 19-year-old London MC won for his debut album "Boy In Da Corner," making him the first rapper in the Mercury's 12-year history to win the prestigious prize.
