Eagles to release box set
By PAUL CANTIN

Seventies supergroup The Eagles will be the subject of a four-disc box set to be released in November, JAM! has learned.

The box set will include three discs of material drawn from their studio albums, plus a CD of live material, although at this point, it's not known whether the live portion will include previously unreleased concert performances or will be drawn from the band's two concert releases.

While most box sets arrange their material according to chronology, The Eagles set will arrange the songs according to style. One disc will be drawn from their early country-rock records, one from their rockier material, and of ballads. The live material will be confined to the fourth CD.

The set, which is pencilled in for Nov. 14, will also include a 40-page oversized booklet, with liner notes and song-by-song notes from the band members.

Here's the tentative track listing for the box set, which currently doesn't have a title beyond simply "Box Set."
