The Manchester quintet waited in the wings a full decade, getting dropped along the way by two different major labels before finally unleashing their excellent Asleep In The Back album on V2 Records this year. And the album, with its resolutely calm, smoldering intensity, sounds every bit like the work of a veteran band.
