Eminem offered film role
By JAM! Movies
After conquering the world of hip-hop, Eminem has been offered his first feature film roles.

Variety reports Slim Shady has been offered $4 million to star alongside rapper DMX in "Lazarus," a project that was originally intended to be the fourth installment of "The Crow" film series, but is now evolving into a stand-alone feature.

"Lazarus" is about two young men who die together and are reborn -- one good and one evil -- and do battle in the world of hip-hop, Variety said. DMX has been offered the good-guy role, while Eminem is being lured to the project with the villain's part.

Much more likely is a planned film about the singer's early life, in which he would presumably play himself.

Universal and Imagine Entertainment are working on an Eminem biopic, with a script by writer Scott Silver that traces the rapper's early career struggles on his way to the top. Variety said Eminem is writing songs for the project wth producer Dr. Dre. (More on Eminem)
