Courtney Love now has rapper Eminem in her sights.

Although Love had referred to Slim Shady as "the first totally post-modern artist," he has recently drawn her scorn over a mocking portrayal of her late husband, Nirvana singer Kurt Cobain.

New York's Daily News reports that Love unleashed her lawyers on Eminem after she learned that the upcoming DVD release "Slim Shady Show" will feature a cartoon of Cobain with a section of his head missing. (Cobain died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound).

The paper said Love has backed off after Eminem's camp promised to drop the Cobain jab. (More on Hole)
