Eminem No. 1 with holiday shoppers

Slim Shady's latest album will be stuffed inside a lot of Christmas stockings this year.

Eminem's greatest hits compilation "Curtain Call" debuted at No. 1 on the Canadian album charts this week with sales of over 58,000 copies, according to Nielsen SoundScan Canada.

It marks the third No. 1 debut for the Detroit rapper.

Eminem also grabbed the top spot south of the border, selling 441,000 copies of "Curtain Call" in the U.S., according to Billboard.com.

Back in Canada, the big entry forced Il Divo's "Ancora" (35,000) down to the No. 2 spot, while holiday shoppers helped Diana Krall's "Christmas Songs" (34,000) move from No. 4 to No. 3.

Madonna's "Confessions On A Dancefloor" slipped one position to No. 4, INXS's "Switch" fell to No. 2 to No. 5 in its second week of release, and Enya's "Amarantine" sank from No. 5 to No. 6.

"MuchDance 2006" held onto No. 7, System of a Down's "Hypnotize" fell two notches to No. 8, The Black Eyed Peas' "Monkey Business" claimed the No. 9 spot, and "Big Shiny Tunes 10" hung on to No. 10.

Other notable debuts included Korn's "See You On The Other Side" at No. 17, Lindsay Lohan's "A Little More Personal (RAW)" at No. 43, and Rammstein's "Rosenrot" at No. 49.

In the U.S., Lil' Wayne's "Tha Carter II" placed second, followed by Korn in third, "NOW! 20" in fourth, and Carrie Underwood's "Some Hearts" in fifth.
