It seems Evanescence's comeback isn't so welcome - at least here in Canada.
The band's self-titled third effort, their first new one in five years, enters the album charts at No. 2, with a paltry 9,000 in sales, according to Neilsen SoundScan numbers.
Their last album, 2006's "The Open Door," opened at No. 2 as well, but sold a heck of a lot more, racking up 43,000 copies in its first week.
It isn't all bad news for Amy Lee and the gang - they reach the top of the heap south of the border, with sales of 127,000 in the U.S., according to Billboard.com.

Back here, Adele continues her mastery on the charts, notching another No. 1 week, selling another 22,000 copies, and raising her grand total to a remarkable 620,000.
Meanwhile, Juno Award winner Feist slips one level to No. 3 with "Metals," Tony Bennett's "Duets II" holds at No. 4, and LMFAO's "Sorry for Party Rocking" slides up one to No. 5.
Rockers Five Finger Death Punch premiere at No. 6 with "American Capitalist," while Scotty McCreery's "Clear as Day" and Lady Antebellum's "Own the Night" both slip two positions to No. 7 and No. 8, respectively.
Peter Gabriel's "New Blood" spent its first week at No. 9, and Marc Hervieux's "A Napoli" drops two to No. 10.
In the U.S., Adele stays in second, followed by Five Finger Death Punch in third, and American Idol's McCreery and Lauren Alaina ("Wildflower") in fourth and fifth.
