I wanted to be the first to say "I told you so" when it comes to Fifth Season breaking into the big-time. I've been saying it about this band for years and it hasn't happened yet, but while it might be too early to pop those champagne corks, "things" are happening.
According to band dad and interim manager Dan Jacobs, the band's song Everything's Fine is in light rotation on Victoria, B.C.'s rock station. They've been hangin' with the Moffatts - not everybody gets to hang with the Moffatts - which turns out to be a swell way to get through to Bob Rock, speak of the devil you know. Fifth Season is also scheduled to showcase in New York in October, where reps from various interested record labels are expected to attend.
