Billboard Magazine reports Furtado has been added to the stellar lineup of techno-star Moby's Area One festival.
Full details of the summer dance-oriented travelling festival are to be announced Monday at a press conference in New York, but previous reports have said the lineup will include hip-hop stars OutKast, post-punk dance pioneers New Order, The Roots, Paul Oakenfold, Carl Cox and Incubus. The tour runs from July 11 to Aug. 5.
JAM! recently reported the singer had collaborated with hip-hop star Missy "Misdemeanor" Elliott's on a remix of Elliott's current single "Get Ur Freak On." Billboard now says the cut is now earmarked for the soundtrack to the upcoming action film "Tomb Raider," starring Angelina Jolie as computer-game heroine Lara Croft.
