After roaring out of the gate with her debut album "Whoa, Nelly,!", the singer has keep a low profile in recent months. That's about to change.
Furtado is embarking on a headline tour of Canada that kicks off Jan. 28. in her hometown of Victoria, B.C., and wraps up April 18 in Toronto. Some U.S. dates are also included in the itinerary.
Furtado's website (www.nellyfurtado.com) confirmed the following Canadian dates:
Jan. 28, Memorial Arena, Victoria, B.C.
Jan. 29, GM Place, Vancouver, B.C.
Feb. 2, MacEwan Hall Ballroom, Calgary, Alta.
April 18, Massey Hall, Toronto, Ont.
The Livedaily.com website reported that Furtado will also perform April 10 at Metropolis in Montreal and April 12 at the Metro Centre in Halifax.
