Nelly Furtado's back at No. 1 in Canada.

After seven months of hovering around the top of the Canadian album charts, Nelly Furtado returned to the top spot in the land this week.

The Victoria, BC native's third album "Loose" (6,000) hit No. 1 on yet another slow sales week, according to data compiled by Nielsen SoundScan data.

It marks the first time Furtado has reached the top of the heap since July of last year.

The movement forced Justin Timberlake's "FutureSex/LoveSounds" (5,000) and the compilation "MuchDance 2007" down one notch to No. 2 and No. 3, respectively.

The Beatles' "LOVE" held steady at No. 4, Eminem's "The Re-Up" occupied the No. 5 slot, and Gwen Stefani's "The Sweet Escape" remained at No. 6.

Akon's "Konvicted" stayed at No. 7, and U2's "U218 Singles" moved up from No. 9 to No. 8.

Fresh off an appearance on "Oprah" last week, singer-songwriter Corinne Bailey Rae shot up a remarkable 54 positions to No. 9 (read our feature interview with her here), while Fray's "How To Save a Life" hung onto No. 10.

In the U.S., Daughtry's self-titled effort hit No. 1 (65,000), the "Dreamgirls" soundtrack in second, the Disney soundtrack "Jump In!" in third, Corinne Bailey Rae in fourth, and Akon in fifth.
